RESOLUTION 2020-018
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF THE REPRESENTATIVE
AND ALTERNATE MEMBER TO THE WASTEWATER RECLAMATION
AUTHORITY (WRA) POLICY BOARD AND REPRESENTATIVE AND
ALTERNATE MEMBER TO THE WASTEWATER RECLAMATION
AUTHORITY (WRA) TECHNICAL BOARD FOR 2020
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County; AND,
WHEREAS, according to the provisions of the 28E agreement the City of Waukee holds
with the Wastewater Reclamation Authority (WRA), the City must annually appoint or
reappoint representatives and alternates to the WRA Policy and Technical Boards; AND,
WHEREAS, for the calendar year 2020, Mayor Courtney Clarke appoints City
Administrator Tim Moerman as the representative and Public Works Director/City
Engineer Rudy Koester as the alternate to the WRA Policy Board; AND,
WHEREAS, for the calendar year 2020, Mayor Courtney Clarke appoints Public Works
Director/City Engineer Rudy Koester as the representative and Assistant Public Works
Director of Operations Tim Royer as the alternate to the WRA Technical Board;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 6 h day of January, 2020, that it hereby approves the Mayor's appointments to
the Wastewater Reclamation Authority (WRA) Policy and Technical Boards.
