AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 111,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR CITY OFFICERS AND THE FINANCES AND RECORDS OF THE
CITY,TO PROVIDE FOR A CHANGE IN PROCEDURE AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR
CITY OFFICERS IN THE FINANCES OF THE CITY BY DELETING FROM SAID CHAPTER,
SECTION 111.7,PURCHASING-ORDER,THEREOF AND RENUMBERING EACH SECTION
THEREAFTER IN NUMERICAL CONSECUTNE ORDER
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council ofthe City of Waukee:
Section 1.Chapter 111,Waukee Municipal Code,Responsibilities for City Officers and the
Finances and Records of tbe City,is amended by deleting thereof Section 111.7,Purchasing-Orders
and renumbering each section thereafter in numerical consecutive order.
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall be
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity ofthe ordinance
as a whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage,approval
and publication as provided by law.
Passed by tbe City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,this 2nd day of June 2003 and approved
this 2nd day of June 2003.
