AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 501,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,
REGULATION OF TRAFFIC UPON AND USE OF THE STREETS OF WAUKEE,IOWA,BY
AMENDING SECTION 501.9(F),BY ADDING SUBPARAGRAPH 2A PROVIDING FOR
ESTABLISHMENT OF A SPEED LIMIT OF 25 MILES PER HOUR FOR VEHICULAR
TRAFFIC ON WARRIOR LANE FROM THE NORTH LINE OF PARK ROAD,IF
EXTENDED,TO THE SOUTH LINE OF UNNERSITY AVENUE,IF EXTENDED,WITHIN
THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.Chapter 501,Section 501.9(F)(9),Waukee Municipal Code,Regulation of
Traffic Upon and Use of the Streets of Waukee,Iowa,is hereby amended by adding Section
501.9(F)(9)(2A),as follows:
Section 501.9F(9)(2A)Speed limit on Warrior Lane between Park Road
and University Avenue.The speed limit on Warrior Lane from the West line of
Park Road,if extended,to the East line of University Avenue,if extended,within
the City of Waukee,Iowa,shall be 25 miles per hour.
And said section of the Waukee Municipal Code maybe cited as §501.9F(9)(2A).
1Section2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall be
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance
as a whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect upon its :final passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,on this 16th day of June 2003,and
approved this 16th day of June 2003.
