CHAPTER 304,SITE PLAN REQUIREMENTS OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA,BY
ADDING AFTER THE SECOND SENTENCE OF THE FIRST PARAGRAPH A SENTENCE
WHICH READS:"A MATERIAL BOARD SHALL ALSO BE SUBMITTED PRIOR TO
CONSIDERATION BY THE PLANNING &ZONING COMMISSION."
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.Section 304.5(M),Waukee Municipal Code,Site Plan Requirements of the City
of Waukee,in which the first paragraph is hereby modified by inserting the following sentence:"A
material board shall also be submitted prior to consideration by the Plauning and Zoning
Connnission.",immediately after the second sentence of such Section so that the first paragraph of
said Section reads as follows:
M.Architectural Standards.Asp art 0 fthe submittal 0 f a site plan for
development within any of the zoning districts and for any of the uses except one
and two family dwellings,architectural plans for buildings shall be submitted for
review and approval by the City Council after recommendation from the Planning
and Zoning Commission.Documentation to be submitted shall include color
building elevations showing the building's design on all sides and a description of
structural and exterior materials to be used.A material board shall also be
submitted prior to consideration by the Planning and Zoning Commission.The
following standards shall be used by the City to review architectural plans:
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall be
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity ofthe ordinance
as a whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not adjudged invalid OT unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect upon its frual passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,tins 16th day of June 2003,and approved
this 16th day ofJune 2003.
