CODE PROVIDING FOR A SCHEDULE OF FEES,ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF WAUKEE,IOWA,BY DELETING SECTION 301.31 OF SAID CHAPTER
AND INSERTING IN LIEU THEREOF A REVISED SECTION 301.31
Section 1.Amendment.Chapter 301,Section 301.31 Waukee Municipal
Code is hereby amended by deleting therefrom "Section 301.31"and inserting in lieu
thereof,the following:
§301.31 Schedule of Fees.The City Council shall establish a schedule
of fees,charges,and expenses and a collection procedure for certificates of zoning
compliance,appeals,and other matters pertaining to this Ordinance.The schedule of fees
shall be posted in the office of the administrative official,and may be altered or amended
by the City Council.The Schedule of Fees is as follows:

Costs incurred by the City of Waukee for review fees of the City Engineer andlor City
Attorney;and reimbursement fOTpublication charges when warranted due to excessive
costs,shall be reimbursed to the City of Waukee by the subdivider,person or persons or
agent of the person who filed the site plan,OTby the party who filed the petition,OThis
agent.
No certificate,special exception,or variance shall be issued unless or until such costs,
charges,fees,or expenses have been paid in full,nor shall any action be taken on
proceedings before the Board of Adjustment unless or until preliminary charges and fees
have been paid in fulL
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this
ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect
the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not
adjudged invalid or unconstitutionaL
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect upon its
final passage,approval and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the Council this 16th day ofJune 2003,and approved this 16th day of
June 2003.
