AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 301.20(F),WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,I
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA,"C-3"PLANNED
COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS,BY DELETING THE WORDS "A
MINIMUM OF 15%"AND INSERTING IN LIEU THEREOF THE WORDS "A MINIMUM OF
TWENTY-FIVE (25)PERCENT."
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.Section 301.20(F),Waukee Municipal Code,Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Waukee,Iowa,"C-3"Planned Commercial Development Regulations is hereby amended by
deleting the words "A minimum of 15%"and inserting in lieu thereof the words "A minimum of
twenty-five (25)percent"so that Section 301.20(F)reads as follows:
"Landscaping.A minimum of twenty-five (25)percent of the total area shall be
retained as landscaped open space to include such items as walles,trees,shrubs,
fountains or other omamental features."
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall ]
be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the
ordinance as a whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not adj udged invalid or
unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,this 20th day of October 2003 and
approved this 20th day of October 2003.
