AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 110,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,OF
THE CITY OF WAUKEE,ESTABLISHING THE SALARIES OF MUNICIPAL OFFICERS BY
DELETING THE CHAPTER IN TTS ENTIRETY AND INSERTING IN LIEU THEREOF THE
FOLLOWING:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.Establishing the Salaries of Municipal Officers.Chapter 110,Waukee
Municipal Code,Establishing the Salaries of Municipal Officers,is hereby repealed,and the
following ordinance is hereby enacted in lieu thereof:
Section 110.1 Council members.The salary of each council
member including the Mayor Pro Tem shall be $325.00 per month.
Section 110.2 Mayor.The mayor shall receive a monthly salary
of$475.00.00 per month.
Section 110.3 Treasurer.The compensation of the Treasurer
shall be set by resolution ofthe Council.
Section 110.4 Other Officers.The compensation of all other
officers and employees shall be set by resolution of council.
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of tills ordinance shall be
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance
as a whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage,approval
and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,this zo"day of October 2003,and
approved this 20th day of October 2003.
