RESOLUTION 2020-306
APPROVAL OF AMENDING CERTAIN ADDRESSES WITHIN THE CITY OF
WAUKEE [U AVENUE PROPERTIES]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the properties identified below have previously been annexed into the City
on April 20, 2020 (Resolution 2020-134) and the current addresses do not reflect the City's
number grid and street naming system: AND,
WHEREAS, as development continues to increase within the area, it is important to have
a unified and consistent addressing system in order to avoid issues with mail delivery and
emergency response; AND,
WHEREAS, staff recommends changing the following local addresses within the City in
order to be consistent with the previously approved addressing coordinate and numbering
system enacted by Waukee City Council as follows:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa in session this 171h day of August 2020, that the local addresses as referenced above
are amended. A copy of this resolution shall be filed of record with the Recorders Office
of Dallas County, Iowa.
