AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 303,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,LAND
SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS,BY AMENDING SECTION 303.64,PRELIMINARY
PLAT TO PROVIDE FOR MONUMENT SIGNS IN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS FOR
DIRECTORY PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.Amendment.Chapter 303,Waukee Municipal Code,
Land Subdivision Regulations,is hereby amended by deleting Section
303.64,and inserting in lieu thereof the following:
§303.64.Location and name of the sUbdivion to be
approved;Location and names of adjacent subdivisions and
owners of adjoining parcels of un subdivided land;and,
if subdivider desires,in any residence district,
application for approval of any monument directory sign
or signs varying in size or any other respect from the
provisions of §301.23,Waukee Municipal Code.
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby
repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision
or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitu-
tional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the
ordinance as a whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect
upon its final passage,approval and publication as provided by
law.
