RESOLUTION 2020-465
APPROVING JOB DESCRIPTION AND PAY GRADE
[ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City Administrator along with the Development Services Director propose the
creation of an Economic Development Coordinator position; AND,
WHEREAS, the addition of the position of Economic Development Coordinator is intended to
support economic development along with the Communications Department, Public Works
Department, Development Services Department and the City Administrator; AND,
WHEREAS, the pay grade for the position shall be N7; AND,
WHEREAS, the City Administrator, Development Services Director and Human Resource
Director recommend establishing the position and approving the job description and pay grade.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on
this 7`h day of December, 2020, that it hereby approves the job description and pay grade for
Economic Development Coordinator, Development Se:LMayor
