RESOLUTION 2020-466
APPROVING ENGINEERING AGREEMENT WITH VEENSTRA & KIMM, INC.
[COMMUNITY WATER SYSTEM RISK AND RESILIENCE ASSESSMENT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, America's Water Infrastructure Act of 2018 requires the assessment of risks from and
resiliency to malevolent acts, including terrorism and natural hazards, for community water systems
serving more than 3,300 persons; AND,
WHEREAS, City staff recommends retaining the services of Veenstra & Kimm, Inc., to conduct the
required risk and resilience assessment.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Engineering Agreement with Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. [Community Water System Risk and Resilience
Assessment] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approv 7th day of December, 2020.
