RESOLUTION 02-54
APPROVING PAYMENT OF RETAINAGE FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE 4TH
STREET CUL-DE-SAC TO NUCKOLLS CONCRETE SERVICES INC.IN THE
AMOUNT OF $5,456.90
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City Council awarded the contract to construct the 4th Street cul-de-sac
to Nuckolls Concrete Services,Inc,on August 20,2001;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Council approved the final pay estimate for the 4th Street cul-de-
sac on November 5,2001;AND,
WHEREAS,Veenstra &Kirnm,Inc.,engineers for the project,have completed an on-
site review of the completed construction and confirm that the work performed is in
substantial accordance with the plans and specifications;AND,
WHEREAS,Nuckolls Concrete Services Inc.has submitted all documentation to
complete the project;AND,
WHEREAS,the city staff and the city engineers have approved payment of the
retainage.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 18th day of March 2002 that it hereby approves payment of the retainage for
the 4th Street cul-de-sac to Nuckolls Concrete Services,Inc.in the amount of$5,456.90.
