APPROVING THE DESIGNATION OF STERNQUIST CONSTRUCTION,INC.
AS LOW BIDDER IN THE DOWNTOWN REDEVELOPMENT PHASE I
IMPROVEMENTS
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOFTHECITYOFWAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,bid acceptance and letting for the Downtown Redevelopment Phase I
Improvements took place March 13,2002 at 2 PM;AND,
WHEREAS,three contractors submitted bids ranging from $875,000 to $732,000;AND,
WHEREAS,the bid received from Stemquist Construction,Inc.at $731,769.00 was the
lowest bid and is designated as such.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this is"day of March 2002 that it hereby approves the designation of Stemquist
Construction,Inc.as low bidder in the Downtown Redevelopment Phase I Improvements.
