RESOLUTION 02-59
APPROVING CHANGE ORDER #1 DECREASING THE DOWNTOWN
REDEVELOPMENT PHASE ITIWPROVEMENTS CONTRACT PRICE BY
$43,877.10
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the public hearing and letting on this project was held March 18,2002
during a regular council meeting.During this meeting Stemquist Construction Inc.was
designated the lowest bidder;AND,
WHEREAS,all bids received were above the engineer's estimate ofthe costs associated
with this project;AND
WHEREAS,awarding the contract and approving the performance and/or payment
bonds for this project took place at a special council meeting held March 25,2002;AND,
WHEREAS,this change order reduces the overall project costs and brings them closer to
the budgeted funds for the improvements.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 25th day of March 2002 that it hereby approves Change Order #1 decreasing
the Downtown Redevelopment Phase I Improvements contract price by $43,877.10.
