APPROVING SWALLOW/SHAFFER PROPERTY PREANNEXATION
AGREEMENT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee and the Shaffer /Swallow family have agreed to the
terms of a pre-annexation agreement;AND,
WHEREAS,The Shaffer property represents an important piece of Waukee's growth
toward Interstate 80;AND,
WHEREAS,This pre-annexation agreement will allow the City of Waukee to
voluntarily annex the two Shaffer parcels.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this first day of April 2002 that it hereby approves of the pre-annexation
agreement with the Shaffer/Swallow family.
