THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
APPROVING THE CITY PLANNER AS A SEPARATE DEPARTMENT FOR
THE PURPOSE OF ORGANIZATION AND BUDGETING
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the planning function is distinct from all departments currently identified in
the City of Waukee;AND,
WHEREAS,separating the planning function from administration would occur prior to
the FY04 budget process;AND,
WHEREAS,separating the two functions now would allow for six months expenditure
tracking prior to the FY04 budget process.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this first day of April 2002 that it hereby approves the City Plauner position as a
separate department for the purpose of organization and budgeting.
