RESOLUTION 02-61
APPROVING PAYMENT OF $2,000 TO VEENSTRA &KIMM,INC.FOR A
SEWER SERVICE STUDY FOR A PORTION OF SUGAR CREEK BASIN WEST
OF 10TH STREET AND SOUTH OF mCKMAN ROAD
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is interested in pursuing development ofland west of
lOth Street and south of Hickman Road AND,
WHEREAS,future development will require the extension of sewer service to the area
AND,
WHEREAS,a definition of the service area,preliminary sewer sizing and estimate of
cost of construction as well as preliminary connection fee will further future discussion
and planning for the designated area AND,
WHEREAS,Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.are aware of the future anticipated growth and can
provide the services requested by the City for a nominal fee.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL YED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this first day.of April 2002 that it hereby approves payment of $2,000 to Veenstra
&Kirnm,Inc.for a sewer service study for a portion of Sugar Creek Basin west of io"
St.and south of Hickman Road.
