RESOLUTION 02-68
APPROVING THE ORDER OF PREPARATION OF DETAILED PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS,NOTICE OF HEARING,NOTICE TO BIDDERS AND
FORM OF CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE PHASE 2
WATER MAIN EXTENSION WITHIN THE JOE BRICK
INDUSTRIAL/BUSINESS PARK
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Kirkham Michael authored,on behalf of the City of Waukee,a RISE
application seeking funds for infrastructure improvements within the Joe Brick
Business/Industrial Park;AND,
WHEREAS,approval ofthat application was granted in the fall of2001;AND,
WHEREAS,Kirkham Michael,as engineers for the project,have determined the size
and location of the water main needed to serve the development;AND,
WHEREAS,City of Waukee staff have reviewed and approved the proposed plans for
the installation of a 12"water main as part of the infrastructure improvements within the
Joe Brick Businessllndustrial Park.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 30'\of April 2002 that it hereby approves the ordering of preparation of
detailed plans,specifications,notice of hearing,notice to bidders and form of contract for
the construction of the Phase 2 Water Main Extension within the Joe Brick
IndustriallBusiness Park.
