RESOLUTION 02-73
APPROVING THE ORDER OF PREPARATION OF DETAILED PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS,NOTICE OF HEARING,NOTICE TO BIDDERS AND
FORM OF CONTRACT FOR BRICK DRIVE (pHASE 3)WITHIN THE JOE
BRICK INDUSTRIAL/BUSINESS PARK
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Kirkham Michael authored,on behalf of the City of Waukee,a RISE
application seeking funds for infrastructure improvements within the Joe Brick
Business/Industrial Park;AND,
WHEREAS,approval of the application was granted in the fall of 200 1;AND,
WHEREAS,approval was granted April 30,2002 to proceed with the construction of a
water main in Phase 2 of this project;AND,
WHEREAS,Kirkham Michael is planning to advertise the availability of plans for
bidding on May 7,2002 and are prepared to set the date of bid receipt and hearing and
letting on Phase 3 ofthis project as June 13,2002 and June 17,2002,respectively.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL YED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 6th day of May,2002 that it hereby approves the order of preparation of
detailed plans,specifications,notice of hearing,notice to bidders and form of contract for
Brick Drive (Phase 3)within the Joe Brick Industrial/Business Park.
