RESOLUTION 02-86
APPROVING THE CERTIFICATION OF REIMBURSABLE DEBT IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE MIKE MEYER/JIM CAMPNEY TAX INCREMENT FINANCING
AGREEMENT FOR WESTGATE BUSINESS PARK NOW KNOWN AS EAST PARK
DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT:WESTGATE BUSINESS PARK
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOFTHECITYOFWAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee and East Park Development,L.L.c.entered into a development
agreement,East Park Development,L.L.c.:Westgate Business Park,on the 6th day of November,
2000,which provided for the reimbursement of expenses associated with the development ofthe
property known as Westgate Business Park;AND,
WHEREAS,reimbursable expenses for the development ofthe property are limited to:site
related engineering and legal fees,soil testing costs,site grading,erosion control costs,fill
sand/gravel (for end of streets),concrete paving,seeding,signage (street signs &barricades),
costs incurred through development of the alteration of the highway median,and water/sewer
work;AND,
WHEREAS,all requests for reimbursable expenses are to be documented by the developer,
reviewed by city staff;AND,
WHEREAS,East Park Development,L.L.C has submitted reimbursable expenses associated
with the development of Westgate Business Park totaling $1,542,604.41,which have been
reviewed and approved by city staff.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
20th day of May 2002 that it hereby approves the certification of reimbursable debt in accordance
with the East Park Development,L.L.C:Westgate Business Park
