APPROVING VEENSTRA &KIMM,INC.AS ENGINEERS FOR THE
WARRIOR LANE WIDENING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOFTHECITYOFWAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,widening of the intersection of S Warrior Lane and Hickman Road is a
scheduled project to be undertaken and assessed to property owners;AND,
WHEREAS,traffic patterns and flow indicate the need for both right and left tum lanes
onto Hickman from S Warrior Lane;AND,
WHEREAS,future developers ofland lying east and west of the intersection would
benefit from knowing the configuration of the intersection and the amount of assessment
of said improvement;AND,
WHEREAS,Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.have proposed to do the design services for this
project for an estimated amount of$13,OOO.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 3rd day of June 2002 that it hereby approves Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.as
engineers for the Warrior Lane Widening Improvement Project.
