RESOLUTION 02-94
APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR WILLIAMS POINTE PLAT 1
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Chuck Thomas representing Regency Land Company and Chad
Christiansen of CEC presented the Preliminary Plat for Williams Pointe Plat 1 to the
Planning and Zoning Commission;AND,
WHEREAS,the Planning and Zoning Commission granted approval of the Preliminary
Plat contingent on completion ofthe following:
1)Rosewood Court be renamed Rosewood Drive;
2)CEC is to investigate the storm sewer flow along the northern section ofthe
plat;
3)CEC and City staff to discuss and resolve the issue of a turning lane from
Cottonwood Drive/Waco Place to University;
4)Storm sewer system design to be based on a 10-year storm event;
5)The Cottonwood Drive/Waco Place island to be landscaped and a
homeowner's association agreement provided for its maintenance.";AND,
WHEREAS,Veenstra &Kinun,Inc.have also reviewed the preliminary plat and
suggested changes.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Waukee,a duly
incorporated City within Dallas County,Iowa in session this 3"d day of June 2002 that it
hereby approves the preliminary plat for Williams Pointe Plat 1.
