RESOLUTION 02-98
APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF REAL ESTATE FROM MARSHA D.
COMES:LOT SIX IN BLOCK TWO IN THE FIRST ADDITION TO THE TOWN
OF WAUKEE,DALLAS COUNTY,IOWA
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Marsha D.Comes of 5084 NW lll'h Drive,Grimes,Iowa is the owner of
property whose legal description is:Lot Six in Block Two in the First Addition to the
Town of Waukee,Dallas County,Iowa;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has assessed said property owner for construction of
sidewalks in the 2001 Sidewalk Improvements -Phase II Project;AND,
WHEREAS,Marsha D.Comes is wanting to sell said property to the City of Waukee for
$1.00 and forgiveness by the City of Waukee of all special assessments pending on the
property;AND,
WHEREAS,it would be in the interest ofthe City to purchase said real estate.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this l51day of July 2002 that it hereby approves the purchase of real estate from
Marsha D.Comes:Lot Six in Block Two ofthe First Addition to the Town of Waukee,
Dallas County,Iowa.
