RESOLUTION SUPPORTING TAX CREDIT APPLICATION FOR PHASE II -OF
WESCAP INVESTMENT'S APARTMENTS
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa,has been informed by WESCAP Investments,Inc.,that a low
income housing tax credit application will be filed with the Iowa Finance Authority for the development
of affordable rental housing to be located at LA Grant Parkway,Waukee,Iowa with a legal description as
follows:
Lot 72,Park View Crossing Plat 2,City of Waukee,Dallas County,Iowa
WHEREAS,this housing project will contain 46 units;
WHEREAS,the units will be targeted to older persons with mixed incomes;
WHEREAS,the project will be a new construction;
WHEREAS,the property will have the following amenities:Community Center,and Computer Learning
Center
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee,Iowa,Governing Body that we
support and approve the development of the aforesaid housing in our community,subject to city
ordinances and the building permit process.This resolution is effective until June 30,2002 In the event
that any of the characteristics mentioned above should change prior to the issuance of a building permit;
this resolution is null and void.
ADOPTED BY THE GOVERNING BODY AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR,this 7th day of
January 2002.
