RESOLUTION 02-22 ]
APPROVING THE CITY'S INTENTION TO INVOLUNTARILY ANNEX THE
BRIAN AND CARRIE ANDREW PROPERTY,620 LITTLE WALNUT CREEK
DRIVE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,all lots in Sahn Acres except the Brian and Carrie Andrew property have
been annexed to the City for many years;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee provides water,fire,police and public works services
to the area;AND,
WHEREAS,City of Waukee feels that it would be in the best interest of the City to
annex the road,Little Walnut Creek Drive,which it currently maintains;AND,
WHEREAS,city staff have visited with Mr.Andrew on many occasions indicating to
him the desire of the City to annex Little Walnut Creek Drive;AND,
WHEREAS,Mr.Andrew does not feel he would benefit from being in the City,even
though he currently benefits from tile City's maintenance of Little Walnut Creek Drive )
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 4th day of February 2002 that it hereby approves the intention to involuntarily
annex the Brian and Carrie Andrew Property,620 Little Walnut Creek Drive,
