RESOLUTION 02-20 ]
APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR FUNDING OF lOW A EVENTS CENTER
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has always been mindful of the benefits accrued to the
City because of its close proximity to the City of Des Moines;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee agreed in Resolution 01-09 to support the construction
of the Iowa Events Center;AND,
WHEREAS,in that same Resolution,the City of Waukee agreed to guarantee a
minimum $1,000 annual contribution for the next ten (l0)years.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 4th day of February,2002 that it hereby approves the Agreement for funding
ofIowa Events Center.
