RESOLUTION 02-31
APPROVING VEENSTRA &KIMM,INC.AS ENGINEERS FOR THE R-22
SEWER IMPROVEMENTS SPECIAL ASSESSMENT PROJECT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City Council approved the R-22 Sewer Improvements as one ofthe
Capitol Improvement Projects on July 2,2001;AND,
WHEREAS,the City desires to complete the project during 2002 with a special
assessment component;AND,
WHEREAS,the original proposal submitted by Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.did not include
an engineering fee for a special assessment component;AND,
WHEREAS,Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.agree to prepare the special assessment component
of this project for engineering fees that are in the range of$5,000 to $7,000;AND,
WHEREAS,the final amount is dependent on how many individual parcels ofland are
included in the special assessments and the complexity of the legal descriptions.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 25th day of February 2002 that it hereby approves Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.as
engineers for the R-22 Sewer Improvements Special Assessment Project.
