RESOLUTION 03-59
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN GROUP
(EDG)FOR DEVELOPING A CONCEPT PLAN FOR THE ALICE'S ROAD
CORRIDOR FOR A FEE OF $25,000
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the Community Development Committee has proposed to use
Environmental Design Group (EDG)to develop a corridor concept plan for the Alice's
Road corridor;AND,
WHEREAS,City staff and the Community Development Committee have reviewed
materials that EDG accomplished fOTother communities;AND,
WHEREAS,EDG recently performed a corridor study for the City of Johnston and the
City of Jolmston was very satisfied with EDG's work;AND,
WHEREAS,EDG has agreed to reduce the fee to $25,000 from $32,000;AND,
WHEREAS,the corridor concept plan will be used to promote the Alice's Road Corridor
to Congressional representatives,property owners,developers,and neighboring
communities.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 17th day of March 2003 that it hereby approves an agreement with EDG fOT
