RESOLUTION 03-60
APPROVING THE ACCEPTANCE OF COUNCILMAN JOHNSON'S
RESIGNATION EFFECTIVE MARCH 25,2003
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Wayne M.Jolmson has served as Councilman for the City of Waukee from
January 1999 to present;AND,
WHEREAS,Wayne M.Johnson is nmning for the position of Mayor,and has asked the
City Council to accept his resignation;AND,
WHEREAS,Wayne M.Johnson has served the City of Waukee with honor and
integrity;AND,
WHEREAS,Wayne M.Johnson has always been willing to go beyond the expected,to
give his all to council committees and projects and to thoroughly research and review all
proposals submitted to the Council.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL YED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 17th day of March 2003 that it hereby reluctantly accepts the resignation of
Wayne M.Johnson effective March 25,2003.
