RESOLUTION NO.01-173
REQUESTING TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT THE INTERSECTION OF CAREFREE
LANE AND HICKMAN ROAD
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is continuing to see a significant amount of commercial
development at the intersection of Carefree Lane and Hickman Road,AND,
WHEREAS,traffic signals will be needed in the near future to accommodate the
developing traffic and assure that traffic congestion does not adversely affect property
values or future development in this area,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Waukee City Council in session this
24th day of September,2001 that it hereby requests the installation of traffic signals at the
intersection of Carefree Lane and Hickman Road as soon as practicable.
