APPROVING PURCHASE OF A PROLIANT ML 350 PENTIUM III,1000 MGHZ
COMPAQ SERVER,INSTALLATION AND SET-UP
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City currently leases two computers,which together form the server of
City Hall AND,
WHEREAS,the server of City Hall is old,outdated,has been patched many times and
needs to be replaced AND
WHEREAS,it would be in the best interest of the City of Waukee to buy-out the
computer/server lease currently held by Bay4 Capital,LLC and return the leased
equipment to Bay4 Capital,LLC AND,
WHEREAS,ANE has given us a proposal,which includes a Proliant ML350 Pentium
ill,1000 Mghz Compaq Server,installation and set-up for $11,479.16 AND,
WHEREAS,City Staff has reviewed the proposal and found it to be adequate and
reasonably priced;j
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 3rd day of December 2001 that it hereby approves purchasing a Proliant
ML350 Pentium III 1000 Mghz Compaq Server,installation and set-up.
