RESOLUTION 03-07
APPROVING THE ACCEPTANCE OF MAYOR LESLIE'S RESIGNATION
WHICH IS TO BE EFFECTIVE AS OF 01-12-03
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Mark D.Leslie has served as Mayor of the City of Waukee from 01-07-02
to the present;AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor Leslie has accepted a position as Vice President with Macy's
Department Store in New York and has asked the City Council to accept his resignation
effective as of 01-12-03;AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor Leslie has served the City of Waukee with courage,honor,integrity
and due diligence;AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 6th day of January 2003 that it hereby reluctantly accepts the resignation of
Mayor Leslie effective 01-12-03.
