APPROVING MARCH 25,2003 AS THE DATE OF THE SPECIAL ELECTION
FOR THE OFFICE OF MAYOR OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Council proposed to fill the vacancy created by Mark D.Leslie's
resignation from the position of Mayor by having a special election;AND,
WHEREAS,the Council is now setting that date as being March 25,2003 for the Special
Election;AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 13th day of January 2003 that it hereby approves setting March 25,2003 as
the date of the Special Election for the Office of Mayor of the City of Waukee,Iowa.
