RESOLUTION 03-22
APPROVING MARCH 3,2003 AS THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON
THE PROPOSED FISCAL YEAR 2004 BUDGET
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa has been diligently working on the Fiscal Year
2004 Budget;AND,
WHEREAS,§384.16(2)[2001]Code of Iowa stipulates that a budget must be certified to
the county auditor and not less than ten days before the date set for the hearing,the clerk
shall make available a sufficient number of copies of the detailed budget to meet the
requests of taxpayers and organizations,and have them available for distribution at the
offices of the mayor and clerk and at the city library;AND,
WHEREAS,§384.16(3)[2001]of the Code of Iowa stipulates the council shall set a time
and place for a public hearing on the budget before the frnal certification date and shall
publish notice of the hearing not less than ten nor more than twenty days before the
hearing in a newspaper having general circulation in the city.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 27th day of January 2003 that it hereby approves March 3,2003 as the date
for a Public Hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year 2004 Budget
