APPROVING DESIGN AND INSTALLATION OF FLAG POLES
AT WAUKEE CITY HALL
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,City of Waukee Council has viewed design and site possibilities for a set of
flag poles to be installed at the Waukee City Hall;AND,
WHEREAS,the Council has agreed to proceed with the project and has selected the
following design and site for the flag pole installation:
Three flag poles will be installed in the shape of a triangle with
landscaping around the base and will be located at the midpoint of
the building and directly north of the parking lot curb so that the
U.S.flag will be closest to the building;AND,
WHEREAS,the Council now instructs staff to proceed with selection of vendor,
installation and landscaping of flag pole installation.I
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 23,·d day of September 2002 that it hereby approves the design and
installation of flag poles at Waukee City HaIL
