RESOLUTION 04-01
APPROVING PAYMENT OFRETAINAGE TO KRI FOR THE 2003 BORE
PROJECT,HICKMAN ROAD SANITARY SEWER AND UNIVERSITY
AVENUE WATER MAIN,IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,700
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the KRI Company has completed the construction of the Hickman Road
Sanitary Sewer and the University Avenue water Main Bore Projects;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council accepted the improvements during the September
22,2003 regularly scheduled meeting;AND,
WHEREAS,in a letter dated December 22,2003,Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.,engineers for
the project,confirmed that KRI Company had submitted the original Iowa Contractor's
Statement and the original waivers oflien for various supplies ofthe project;AND,
WHEREAS,City staff confirm that all final documentation has been received from KRI
Company.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL YED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 5th day of January 2004 that it hereby approves payment of retain age to KRI
Company in the amount of $5,700.
