RESOLUTION 04-10 ]
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENTS TO THE MPO
AND TO THE MPO TTC
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,annually the City of Waukee must appoint or reappoint representatives to
the Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization and the DM area MFO
Transportation Technical Committee (TTC);AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has one primary representative and one alternate
representative on both the DM Area MFO and on the DM Area MPO TTC;AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor Tony Oberman has for the calendar year 2004 reappointed himself,
Mayor Tony Oberman,to be the primary representative to the DM Area MFO and has
reappointed William Peard to be the alternate representative to the DM Area MFO;AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City ofWaulcee City Council in
session this s"day of January 2004 that it hereby approves the Mayor's appointments to
the Metropolitan Planning Organization and to the Metropolitan Planning Organization
Transportation Teclmical Committee.
