RESOLUTION 04-14 ]
THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
APPROVING CONSTRUCTION OF THE UNIVERSITY AVENUE WIDENING
PROJECT TO BEGIN APRIL 2004
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is undertaking the widening of University Avenue from
142nd St.to Waco Place;AND,
WHEREAS,due to a larger than expected work program planned by the IA DOT and
assuming appropriated funding is available in FY04,this project once thought to be
undertaken in FY05 is to be rescheduled to begin in FY04;AND,
WHEREAS,the City staff support the change in schedule with submittal ofthe
preliminary resolution taking place at the regularly scheduled council meeting,March I,
2004 and the date for the public hearing on said issue will be set for April 5,2004.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 5"'day of January 2004 that it hereby approves construction of the University
Avenue Widening Project to begin in April 2004.]
