THE CITY OF WAUKEE,lOW A
APPROVING ENLARGED OUTDOOR SERVICE AREA FOR MIPFOUR INC DBA
MICKEY'S IRISH PUB FOR ST.PATRICK'S DAY CELEBRATION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Steve McFadden of Mickey's Irish Pub has hosted St.Patrick's Day events fOT
many years resulting in thousands of dollars raised for local charities;AND,
WHEREAS,Steve McFadden proposes to host a St.Patrick Day event at the Mickey's Irish Pub
located here in Waukee;AND,
WHEREAS,Mr.McFadden lists the following that will be provided by Mickey's Irish Pub as
part of that celebration:
1.Tent by Carter Rental
2.Beer truck by Nesbit Distributing
3.Live entertainment by several bands from 7pm to I lpm under the tent
4.Insurance through Mauro Insurance
5.Portable septic services
6.Fencing by Carter Rental
7.Clean-up by Smith Parking Sweepers;AND,
WHEREAS,Mr.McFadden has also agreed to hire one or more off-duty police officers to
ensure a safe and secure enviromnent during the celebration;AND,
WHEREAS,Chief Phillips of the Waukee Police Department has approved the St.Patrick's
celebration with the conditions as mentioned above.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
26th day of January 2004 that it hereby approves enlarging the outdoor service area for MipFour
Inc DBA Mickey's Irish Pub for St.Patrick's Day event with the understanding that the even!
will be scheduled from 5PM to 10PM.~
