A RESOLUTION SETTING GAS METER FEES AT $615.00 AND CHARGE TO
BUILDERS FOR SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE CITY OF WAUKEE'S GAS
DEPARTMENT IN THE COURSE OF INSTALLATION OF SAID METERS.
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORJTY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,it is the desire of the City of Waukee to recover the cost of materials and
labor involved in the purchase and installation of the Remote Read gas meters in new
construction;AND,
WHEREAS,the billing for the meter and installation is most efficiently done at the time
a building permit is issued;AND,
WHEREAS,a thorough and fair assessment of the cost incurred by the City's Gas
Department has been arrived at;AND,
WHEREAS,the City's goal is to provide the highest possible service and goods,at the
lowest possible price;AND,
1NOWTHEREFOREBEITRESOLVEDbytheCityCounciloftheCityofWaukee,
Iowa hereby establishes the fee for the installation of gas meters at $615.00.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 8th day of
September 2003.
