RESOLUTION 03-188
APPROVING PAYMENT OFRETAINAGE FOR 2003 PAVEMENT ASPHALT
OVERLAY IMPROVEMENTS OF ASHWORTH ROAD AND
WARRIOR LANE /UNIVERSITY AVENUE TO GRIMES ASPHALT AND
PAVING,INC.IN THE AMOUNT OF $18,171.93
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee accepted the Certificate of Completion for the 2003
Pavement Asphalt Overlay Improvements of Ashworth Road and Warrior Lane /
University Avenue September 8,2003;AND,
WHEREAS,Grimes Asphalt and Paving,Inc.has submitted all required materials,
certifications,and other documentations required to be submitted by the contractor and
specified by the contract;AND,
WHEREAS,city staff and city engineers have approved payment of the retainage.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 8th day of September 2003 that it hereby approves payment of the retainage
for the 2003 Pavement Asphalt Overlay Improvements Project to Grimes Asphalt and
Paving,Inc.in the amount of$18,171.93
