RESOLUTION 03-149
APPROVING PROPOSED AGREEMENT WITH V &K,INC.FOR WARRIOR
LANE SInEW ALK AND STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOFTHECITYOFWAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,The City of Waukee recently built a new Library Facility;AND,
WHEREAS,the City feels for the safety ofthe patrons who will be utilizing this Library
Facility,a sidewalk should be constructed from the 5-way Stop to the new library;AND,
WHEREAS,in addition to the sidewalk,the storm sewer improvements will be included
in this proj ect due to the current rural design section along Warrior Lane;AND,
WHEREAS,a maj ority of the City Council wished to utilize Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.,the
appointed City Engineers for this project.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
that the proposed agreement with V &K,Inc.for the Warrior Lane Sidewalk and Storm
Sewer Improvements be approved.
Passed by the City Council ofthe City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 7th day ofJuly
2003.
