THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
APPROVING ADDITIONAL ENGINEERING FEES SUBMITTED
BY SNYDER &ASSOCIATES,RE:HICKMAN ROAD STREETLIGHT
POLES INSTALLATION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee City Council voted at its regularly scheduled meeting,
July 7,2003 to continue with the Hickman Road Streetlight Project by installing at this
time the streetlight poles;AND,
WHEREAS,Snyder &Associates original proposal included the installation of one light
pole,which included pole,luminaire,footing,pole wiring,and connections and which
was included as Alternate 3;AND,
WHEREAS,the additional work requested by the City will expand the original scope of
work and will include as Task 1 -preparation of plans and specifications for the letting
process and Task 2 -construction administration services for the actual installation;
AND,
WHEREAS,Snyder &Associates,Inc.will bill the services necessary to complete
Tasks I &2 at an hourly basis not to exceed a total of $6,650.00 or more specifically
$4,000.00 for Task 1 and $2,650.00 for Task 2.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 4th of August 2003 that it hereby approves the payment of additional
engineering fees to be submitted by Snyder &Associates for the letting and construction
of street light poles as part of the Hickman Road Arterial Street Lighting Project.
