RESOLUTION 03-79
APPROVING REVIEW OF BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE R-22
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT AND SETTING A DATE
FOR FURTHER CONSIDERATION OF SUCH PROPOSALS
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,bids for the construction ofthe R-22 Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project
had been received,opened and read by the City Clerk at 1 :00 o'clock p.m.,at the Council
Chambers,City Hall,on the 27th of March 2003;AND,
WHEREAS,April 7,2003 at 7:00 o'clock p.m.at the Council Chambers is the time and
place set for the consideration of such bids;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Clerk reported bids were received for Contracts 1 and 2 from the
following:

WHEREAS,Mik Briedis of Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.,made his recommendations to the
Council;AND,
WHEREAS,general consensus of all present indicated that further discussion of the
proposals shall occur at a later date and that date being May 5,2003 at the regularly
scheduled council meeting in the council chambers at 7:00 p.m.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 7'11 day of April 2003 that it hereby approves the review of bids for the
construction ofR-22 Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project and sets May 5,2003 as the
date for further consideration of such proposals.
