APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE PHASE 2 WATER MAIN EXTENSION
WITHIN THE JOE BRICKINDUSTRIALIBUSINESS PARK AND PAYMENT OF
RETAINAGE TO CORELL CONTRACTOR,INC.
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee reviewed and approved the agreement with Joe Brick to
help finance the installation of a 12 inch water main May 5,2002;AND,
WHEREAS,the assistance provided by the City in fmancing the water main would be
reimbursed to the city on or before the earliest to occur of the following:
1.The date of approval by the City Council of the Final Plat for Joe Brick
Industrial/Business Park or
2.The date which occurs five (5)years after the date of submittal by the City to the
Developer of the statement of actual construction costs;AND,
WHEREAS,Brad Freeman,Construction Inspector with the City of Waukee inspected the
water main improvements constructed in the Joe Brick IndustriallBusiness Park and found
they were in general conformance with the standard specification of the City;AND,
WHEREAS,John Gibson,Public Works Director,recommends payment of retain age to
Corell Contractors Inc.in the amount of$1,781.60.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session
this 21 at day of April,2003 that it hereby approves and accepts the Phase 2 Water Main
Extension within the Joe Brick Industrial/Business Park and payment of retainage to Corell
Contractor,Inc.
