RESOLUTION 03-91 )
APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH THE TERRUS GROUP FOR
PREPARATION OF SPILL PREVENTION CONTROL AND
COUNTERMEASURE (SPCC)PLAN
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the Public Works Department of the City of Waukee must have in place a
plan of action to prevent,control or contain spills of material which would adversely
impact streams or rivers in the path of the spill flow;AND,
WHEREAS,it is a mandate of the Environmental Protection Agency to have such a plan
in place;AND,
WHEREAS,the TelTUSGroup is proposing to contract with the City of Waukee to
provide the City with a Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC)Plan at a
flat fee cost of$1,120.00;AND,
WHEREAS,staff have reviewed the proposal and recommend hiring the Tenus Group
for this proj ect.INOWTHEREFOREBEITRESOLVEDbytheCityofWaukeeCityCouncilin
session this 2151 day of April 2003 that it hereby approves the agreement with The Tenus
Group for preparation of Spill Prevention control and Countermeasure (SPCC)Plan
