RESOLUTION 03-90
APPROVING THE DEVELOPMENT OF A CONTRACT
WITH LEE ENGINEERS AND SURVEYORS
FOR UNIVERSITY AVENUE WIDENING PROJECT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,an RFP was distributed for the University Avenue Widening Proj ect to
seven engineering firms;AND,
WHEREAS,ofthe seven firms who responded by the March 31,2003 deadline,Stanley
Consultants and Lee Engineers and Surveyors were the lowest bidders;AND,
WHEREAS,ofthe two firms,Lee Engineers and Surveyors and Stanley Consultants,
Lee Engineers and Surveyors were selected as the engineers for this project because they
are familiar with this type of proj ect and have completed many like it.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 21 st day of April 2003 that it hereby approves the development of a contract
with Lee Engineers and Surveyors for University Avenue Widening Project.
