APPROVING BLACKTOP SERVICE CO.AS THE LOW BIDDER FOR THE
ANNUAL SEAL COATING FOR CITY STREETS AND PARK ROAD
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,letters were mailed to the three companies who do seal coating in the State
ofIowa;AND,
WHEREAS,bids for this project were to be received no later than noon,May 27,2003;
AND,
WHEREAS,Blacktop Service Co.of Humboldt,Iowa was the only company to respond
with a bid of:
A.C.C.Patch Material (installed)by the ton at a price of $72.00 per ton
Single Seal applied by the square yard at a price of$0.855 per sq.yard
Double Seal applied by the square yard at a price of $2.24 per sq.yard;AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 2nd day of June 2003 that it hereby approves Blacktop Service Co.as the low
bidder for the Annual Seal Coating for city streets and the park road.
