RESOLUTION 04-156 I
APPROVING AGREEMENT PURSUANT TO IOWA CODE CHAPTER 28E
BETWEEN THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA AND THE CITY OF
WEST DES MOINES,IOWA FOR THE PROVISION OF
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT SERVICES
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,this agreement is a voluntary,joint undertaking to create and operate
information technology support services to be provided by West Des Moines to Waukee
AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee will pay West Des Moines $40,000.00 over the term of
this agreement,July 1,2004 through June 30,2005;AND,
WHEREAS,the obligations and duties arising from this agreement will be honored by
each community,one to the other,as appropriate;AND,
WHEREAS,city staff strongly recommend the approval of this agreement.
]NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this iz"day of July 2004 that it hereby approves the 28E Agreement between the
City of Waukee and the City of West Des Moines for the provision ofInformation
Technology Support Services.
