RESOLUTION 04-163
APPROVING WAGE ADJUSTMENT
FOR NON-REPRESENTED EMPLOYEES FOR FYOS
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Cost of Living increases are customarily addressed at the beginning of a fiscal
year;AND,
WHEREAS,City Administrator Mark J.Arentsen is reconnnending a 3.5%COLA for non-
represented employees,excluding Library employees and the Park and Recreation Director who
is still in the probation period,to begin July 1,2004;AND,
WHEREAS,this amount is equal to a 3.5%increase for the year for those non-represented
employees listed below for a total expenditure of$21,130.47;AND,
WHEREAS,additional funds previously approved as an increase in the pay for Beth Richardson
are increasing this expenditure request by $5,164.53 for a total of $26,295.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
12th day of July 2004 that it hereby approves the wage adjustment reflected in the chart below:
